2nd birthday shenanaghans

We took Katie to the seattle aquarium for her second birthday. She loved the fish and her favorite was the seal. But I think it was quickly replaced by her cake later on that night, which was every where.

Halloween costume or everyday devil?

New bike porn

So there you have it. my new hubs for the cove. I struggled for a long time to make a decision on this. i thought about King, hadley, DT swiss. But settled on the hope because of the brakes I put on. Hope brakes are the best i have ever usd so the hubs had to be good. These will be laced up on stan's olympic rims with DT swiss spokes. Now i need time to lace them up.

Track day

Well finally got around to getting my but on a track to find out how the bike and I would hold against other bikes and riders. The track was in Kent washington, pacific raceways a 12 turn 2.5 mile corkscrew of fun. After a couple of sessions I was able to ride with an instructor, I thought I was doing pretty well passing everthing on the straights and thru the corners. The instructor quickly made me step my game up I probaly dropped 2 seconds of my lap times after following that guy. Just for the record He was riding an R1. In the pics I was probaly doing upwards of 110 on the way up to 160 gawd it was fun. Well looking at the post after I posted the second pic is not me, oops Tara said it was hard to pick me out I imagine it was.

Katie on the farm

Katie on the farm, Tara took Katie to the island county fair and she was absolutly enthralled with the animals. She has no fear of the farm animals she would just walk up and start petyting the goats and start jabbering like she was talking with them. Her favorite part was the pony ride she threw a fit when it was over and kept trying to run back to the ponys.

Big girl Bed

Katie has graduated from a crib t a big girl bed. She is super excited about this. She will ask to go nigh nigh at 2 in the after noon so she can be in her bed.

After trip modifications

A couple after trip mods. i took the forks off took them apart and installed the new springs. Easy job Big rewards the bike handles as well as anything I have ridden like a heavy R1.

bike trip

Here are a couple pics of my last bike trip. 900 miles in three days across the cascade mountains to the desert of eastern washington. We camped out by the grand coulee damn(way in the back ground in the 3rd pic) Good times great roads. I never take any pictures to busy riding just like mountain bikes.

Speed demons

Katie and I speeding down the hill. Auntie Carrie and Uncle Jimmy will be proud to know that Katie proudly yells bike at every bicycle we pass. The hooligans will be proud to know that she yells vroom vroom at every motorcycle. Now if i can get her to boo at the harleys we will be ok.

stage 2

Well got the holeshot jet kit in the other day, just needed time to install. Took all day to rip out the airbox, carbs, and remember where all the hoses go. Took a bit but the end result is nice i think the k&n filters look nice.
