birthday maddness

i know certain people, you know who you are, have been picking on us for putting up too many pictures of Katie but this one is legit! here is her 1st birthday pictures. scary she is one... everyday she gets a little crazier! good grief.

few of my favorite things

Here is a bit o bike bling, some of the things I have chosen to be put to service on one of my favorite bikes. I tried to choose some parts that have been proven over time or I lusted over since the early days but never had the moola. Started with the frame from cove bikes in british columbia we all know the canucks can ride some burly stuff so should kast me a while (thanks Tara love you). I hung a lot of good stuff king, thomson, hope, salsa, sram,marazocci, easton and mavic. this is my bike to pimp all the rest of them get to stay pretty basic but this one gets the good stuff. Still i would love to get some king hubs with stans olympic rims and the hope 2 piece rotors to finish it up. Someday.

Gladiators?

Here is a bunch of characters,just glad we had the excuse of halloween to act crazy. Tara made us the costumes on the cheap, but cheap doesn't mean cheesy, well maybe a bit but the costumes won us first prize. I made sheilds out of cardboard and ductape. good times whooooooo.

Wel the time has come for Katie to figure out the finer things in life, self propusion through the power of the pedal. Uncle Jimmy will be proud. Though she can't quite reach the pedals, pulling from her tricycle isn't the easiest thing to do usually ends in tears. We walked her for a couple of blocks and she didn't need any help at all. Seems like she is a natural soon she will be yelling at me to keep up. can't wait.

Aunt Debbie

here is katie with my Aunt Debbie, Katie loved her she had all the songs thatcalmed Katie down and she is just a very loving person.

Katies contemplating doing somthing mischevious you can see it in her eyes and the way the tounge comes out in utra concentration mode. She seeems to be thinking now that I have dads wallets where can I put it where he will never find it.

there has been reports of gigantic babies turning up in the sewers of america, Katie in her everlasting quest to explore the myths and get into evrything she can tried to investigate this mystery. Well sems she didn;t quite make it.

Katie's climbing

Well you hear that your kid will be a reflection of you and give you the same trouble you gave your parents. Well Katie has started climbing into everything, The only problem is that she climbs into it and can't get out, won't be long until she is climbing tree's and giving Tara and i heart attacks on a daily basis.

Deception views

Well with camping in Washington ypu cant go to far without seeing some good views. The view from above is from goose rock which is a nice little 2 mile hike up hill with very steep trails. The bridge is the deception pass bridge which is about 320 foot above the water, the water below is usually pretty violent with the tide coming in or out. Last but not least is me showing of my version of paradise as long as there is no sand I'm happy, and this place is beautiful.

Camping

Well here are the first couple pics of Tara and my camping trip to Deception pass. Kind of a shakedown trip for our hope to do more camping in the future. Tara is hiding in our Bugaboo tent, that thing is huge but it will hold us and our growing bear. And of course there is me I can neer seem to keep my feet on the groubd if there is somthing to climb.

Little monster

Well I always knew my kid would be monster, now I have proof, cutest monster I have ever seen. The older she gets the more fun she is.

After making such a huge jump even Richie is surprised he lived to tell about it. See even old dudes can rock the flow park too!
