Bike show Bling

Tara, Carrie, Jimmy and I went to the handmade bike show in portland when they got here. The bikes at the show were amazing. Of course it made me want to upgrade my bike to one of these amazing pieces of art. Well needless to say the handjob stays (kind of attached to it really). Here are some non Katie pictures for the bike geeks to ogle over. I know it's been a long tme.

Autie and uncle

Here is Auntie carrie and uncle Jimmy. The are getting close to Katie she had no problems getting close with them. Of course she was really interested in the beard considering that Daddy can't grow one.

so we had our first and probably last snow day of the year! katie loves cruising in the sled. she is a speed demon!

More bath time

Katie is still loving her bath time even more when she has crazy hair and spaghettios all over her face. She really makes us smile. Well until she wakes up at 3 am. Love her anyway.

Here is Katie and her buddy Kelty with Katie just cheesing it up for the camera, She finally has just enough hair for ltlle pigtails. I think she likes them she plays with them all the time.

Well the last day of 2007was spent shooting at friends, make up for the aggression built up over the year. In no particular order Me, Tara, Heather, Jake, Maldo, Ryan, Brenda, Bob, Simone, Nick, Kevin, Kyle, Jason, and Russell Shot over 8000 paintball at each other through the course of the day. All we have to show for it is a bunch of cool little welps all over the place. Tara gets a deep satisfaction in shooting me, all I hear is pop pop pop he he he pop pop pop.

birthday maddness

i know certain people, you know who you are, have been picking on us for putting up too many pictures of Katie but this one is legit! here is her 1st birthday pictures. scary she is one... everyday she gets a little crazier! good grief.

few of my favorite things

Here is a bit o bike bling, some of the things I have chosen to be put to service on one of my favorite bikes. I tried to choose some parts that have been proven over time or I lusted over since the early days but never had the moola. Started with the frame from cove bikes in british columbia we all know the canucks can ride some burly stuff so should kast me a while (thanks Tara love you). I hung a lot of good stuff king, thomson, hope, salsa, sram,marazocci, easton and mavic. this is my bike to pimp all the rest of them get to stay pretty basic but this one gets the good stuff. Still i would love to get some king hubs with stans olympic rims and the hope 2 piece rotors to finish it up. Someday.

Gladiators?

Here is a bunch of characters,just glad we had the excuse of halloween to act crazy. Tara made us the costumes on the cheap, but cheap doesn't mean cheesy, well maybe a bit but the costumes won us first prize. I made sheilds out of cardboard and ductape. good times whooooooo.

Wel the time has come for Katie to figure out the finer things in life, self propusion through the power of the pedal. Uncle Jimmy will be proud. Though she can't quite reach the pedals, pulling from her tricycle isn't the easiest thing to do usually ends in tears. We walked her for a couple of blocks and she didn't need any help at all. Seems like she is a natural soon she will be yelling at me to keep up. can't wait.
